CLONEDROID WINS GOLD
Cate Bronson Awarded First Place in Adult Science Fiction

Cate Bronson's hard science fiction, techno-thriller Clonedroid: The New Wave won first place, receiving a gold medal in the Adult Science Fiction catagory of the Florida Authors and Publishers Association 2020 President's Book Awards on August 1st. Cate is excited and honored to receive this recognition for her hard work, and thanks FAPA members, president Pat Stanford, and the judges for this award. She shares this achievement with her husband, whose love and guidance helped Cate make this novel a reality. She is also grateful to Deb Von Cannon of Urban Artist Florida Studio for the amazing book cover design, and also her family, friends, and critique partners for their encouragement and support in this endeavor. Cate Bronson's hard science fiction, techno-thriller Clonedroid: The New Wave is a finalist in the Florida Authors and Publishers Association 2020 President's Book Awards. The novel will be awarded a medal of gold, silver, or bronze when winners are announced.
According to FAPA, finalists would normally gather at the awards banquet to receive their medals in front of friends, family, authors, publishers, and other industry peers attending the conference. This year, with COVID-19 getting in the middle of everything, the routine is a little different. The FAPAcon2020 conference and awards banquet, scheduled for the first weekend in August, had to be cancelled but the association is currently working out alternatives to recognize deserving medalists and those plans will be announced soon. So please check back and stay tuned!

We are not scheduling book signings and author events, at least, not until the apocalypse ends.
All the same, Cate is looking forward to meeting up with you soon at book festivals and fun events. So, please check back for news about scheduled get-togethers when we can enjoy each other's company once again.
